SunGreen Systems, will be attending the ribbon-cutting to inaugurate a new 521.5 kW solar power system that SunGreen designed and installed for YKK U.S.A., Inc. The new photovoltaic systems will generate sufficient power to meet 97.6 percent of the energy needs of YKK’s zipper manufacturing facility and it will be the fourth largest solar array in operation in the city of Anaheim.

As environmental issues grow in importance, consumers increasingly look to companies and brands to do their part. In a national survey conducted for the Carton Council of North America by Research+Data Insights, 91 percent of consumers say they expect food and beverage brands to actively help increase the recycling of their packages. The survey, which included nearly 2,500 U.S. adults, shows a 5 percent increase when compared to 2013 research that asked the same question.
MillerCoors announced all of its major breweries are now landfill-free, with the Fort Worth Brewery as the latest site to reach this milestone. MillerCoors' first brewery reached landfill-free status in 2011.
